Crossroads is a transportation equipment leasing company headquartered in Southern California. Over the years, they have grown into a national lender with an array of financial products designed to help big rig transportation firms succeed. They grew very quickly in one year which put extreme pressure on their processes and systems. They needed to modernize their technology to automate processes and increase productivity while at the same time, retaining their staff count to meet aggressive goals for growth. These changes required sound data and decision-making tools. The challenge was to ensure the data aggregated from multiple sources was accurate.
Solution
Krasan Consulting assisted Crossroads in getting specific customer reports to decision makers and needed data to middle line management. Our SQL BI consultants provided Crossroads the capabilities to handle Master Data in a consistent fashion and ensure Data Quality disciplines were in place. Our consultant’s configuration of the Microsoft Data Quality and Master Data Management tools permitted quality data feeds to flow into the Data Warehouse. The Krasan development team built out decision making reports using Power BI capabilities.

We helped the Crossroads team more effectively and efficiently groom their data and create reports. Our work ensured:
- Data conflicts, redundancy and inaccuracies are managed and eliminated,
- Business users receive the data in forms that are meaningful and useful,
- Managers and executives are able to count on the quality of the information they receive to make timely and smart business decisions.
